Facebook page is not effective. This tutorial discusses how to get Facebook engagement to boost SEO via boosted post. Also, try my full marketing course with over 11 hours of content.

In this tutorial I explain that free marketing with Facebook is very ineffective, and I show how Facebook only shows business page updates to about 1% of the people who liked a given page. That makes things very difficult when you try to promote your business and get engagement. In the video I show you how to cheaply get lots of engagement, likes, shares and comments on our Facebook posts. Once you get engagement with boosted posts, that engagement can help you rank in Google search.

Facebook boosted posts isn’t the best option to get customers from Facebook, but it is a good option to get engagement for a post. And that engagement can help your Google SEO. So it is a complex strategy.

I have personally used Facebook boosted posts to drive thousands of people to my posts and generate great engagement in the form of likes, comments and shares. Those positive social signals helped me boost the SEO of the content I am promoting in the Facebook posts, and ultimately rank in Google for whatever search terms I am targeting. So I sometimes use Facebook boosted posts to help get my YouTube videos to rank in YouTube and my blog posts or web pages to rank in Google.
