5 Strategies To Get More YouTube Subscribers
In this tutorial I go over a few strategies for how to get more YouTube subscribers. One simple thing you can do to get more subscribers for your YouTube channel is to use the in video programming option that YouTube offers to add a link to subscribe. That way your viewers can click a button that appears right on the screen, and easily subscribe to your channel. Here is my full video tutorial on how to get more subscribers on YouTube, which also has the example of the in-video programming on the top-right to have the subscribe call to action that I am mentioning.
Another thing you can do to get more subscribers is to simply ask people to subscribe and keep in touch with you right in your video, or your intro, or the closing part of the video. You can also add annotations to your videos asking people to do that as well.
Get More Views And Some Of Those People Will Subscribe
Additionally, what you can also do is try to get more views on your videos. The more people will see your videos the more people will subscribe to them. So growing your subscribers and views is something that can and should be worked on in parallel.
Video Quality Matters
Additionally, the quality of the videos will play a large role in whether people ultimately choose to subscribe to your YouTube channel. If your videos are good, people will be more likely to subscribe. And if the videos are of marginal quality, people won’t bother too much to think about your channel, and will just move on elsewhere.
Funnel Users From Other Social Networks
Another strategy you can use to get YouTube subscribers is to funnel whatever audience you might currently have on email, Facebook, Twitter or anywhere else. For example, I have many users on my mobile apps, and I always encourage them to subscribe to me on YouTube. Coincidentally, you don’t have to just limit people to YouTube. You can additionally get them to subscribe to you on other social networks. The more points of contact you have with people the better.
Interview And Be Interviewed
You can also interview other YouTube content creators, and get interviewed by them. This way you can cross-promote each other’s channels. You can replicate this strategy on other media channels like podcasts as well.
Leave Good Comments On Popular YouTube Videos
When you comment on other popular videos, especially if you leave a great comment that ultimately gets many thumbs up, you will get your YouTube channel more exposure, and some of the people will come to your channel, and possibly subscribe.
When You First Start, Ask People You Know To Subscribe
When I first started my channel, to get views on my videos I had to get them to rank in YouTube. And to get videos to rank in YouTube I had to have a more authoritative channel. And the number of subscribers makes your channel more or less authoritative. So to get about 100 first subscribers I simply asked people to subscribe.
