Mobile app monetization with ads: How to make more money with mobile app ad mediation

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

To start making much more money from your ads, sign up here.

Click on the sign-up button, go through the sign-up process, install the 4-lines of code needed, and update your app in the app store. After that you will monetize the ads you publish on your app much better than before.

Most mobile app (Android and iPhone or iPad on iOS) entrepreneurs struggle when it comes to making good money with ads. Most app entrepreneurs don’t understand why the monetization is so poor. Let me explain that first.

You see, no matter which mobile app ad network you use, they typically struggle with having low fill rates. Fill rate is a term that means how many of the possible ad impressions on the app actually have a relevant ad that gets placed there. And the industry secret is that no single mobile app ad network has a fill rate that is near 100%. In fact, most of the mobile ad networks struggle to have fill rates that are even close to 50%.

This is where a company like AdToApp comes in. They have what is called smart ad mediation. AdToApp is a smart mobile app ad mediation company that aggregates over 20 of the top mobile app ad networks, and in each screen impression of your app, queries those mobile app ad networks in order to bring you the highest bidding ad. This can result in your app generating double, triple or even better earnings and revenue from the same users compared to the revenue your app would generate from using just one of the available mobile app ad networks.

Usually, AdToApp charges a 10% fee for using their service, but if you use the link provided at the top of the video description, you will only be charged 5%.

Plus, if you end up installing and using AdToApp, I will partner with you, and help you promote your app, and get you more downloads. Of course, after I help you get more downloads, you will make even more money from those downloads, and your earnings will compound to be hundreds if not thousands of percent more than what your Android or iPhone app generates in revenue today. And the great thing about increasing your app earnings and income this way is that you can do this as early as today if you are on Android, and as early as the Apple review team approves your iPhone or iPad app update for the Apple App store.

So are you ready to start making double or triple more money from the ads you currently serve on your apps? Get started today by registering with AdToApp, installing their SDK, updating your app in the app store.

Here again is the promotion link that you should use to register.

That app will be your resume.

In the course, Val Okefor and Alex Genadinik teamed up to teach you to make your own Android apps, and then get many downloads for them, and top strategies for how to make money from your apps. How to use promotions to get app downloads, increase product sales & get featured in app stores

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

In this tutorial I explain how to use an online marketing technique to use discounts to drive more sales of products, or get more app downloads, and ultimately make more money. It is a brilliant but simple strategy. And if you like this tutorial, here is my Amazon author page with the 6 books I wrote. Also, try my full marketing course with over 11 hours of content.

First, you have to create some kind of a discount for your products. If it is a paid app, you can make it cheaper or free depending on what can be done with your particular app. if it is a free app, you can create a discount for an in app purchase. The ideas is to have some kind of a promotional discount.

Once you have a discount or a promotion that you are running, you can post that promotion to many online discount and coupon websites. There are countless such websites, but about 10 of them or so will actually be big enough to be effective at driving downloads.

Once you are able to generate an increase and a spike in downloads, that will send s signal to the mobile app stores that there is something happening to your app, and the app store editors might notice your app and decide to feature it.

This strategy can help you increase sales of other kinds of products as well. This isn’t a strategy that is limited to apps. In fact I discovered this strategy as I was trying to increase the sales of my online courses. I can attest first hand that this strategy works.

This can help you make more revenue and profits by increasing product sales or mobile app (iPhone or Android) downloads. Give this strategy a try. Hopefully it works for you as well as it does for me.

Growth hacking: YouTube growth hack for mobile apps to get YouTube traffic and app downloads

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

Growth hacking: YouTube growth hack for mobile apps to get YouTube traffic and app downloads. And try my full marketing course with over 11 hours of content or my course on specifically mobile app business and marketing.

In this tutorial, I show a cool growth hack for how to grow a YouTube video and your mobile apps at the same time. On your Android app’s landing page you get to put a video explaining your app. That video will get many views over time. And since the number of views is a big ranking factor on YouTube, that video will start to rank for some keywords in YouTube. You must make that video in a way for it to do well as an introduction video for your app on Android, and also for it to be able to stand alone on YouTube and drive people to your app. That way your video can drive people to get your app, and increase your downloads. This is a reasonable solution for apps which are in niches where videos are very difficult to promote. And this is a little hack around this situation.

Mobile app promotion: how to make your app rank highly in Android & Apple app store with ASO (SEO)

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

Mobile app promotion: how to make your app rank highly in Android GooglePlay & Apple app store with ASO.

Check out my mobile app book and full course, which will teach you the ins and outs of the mobile app business.

In this tutorial I discuss app store ranking and how you can make your app rank better in Apple App Store’s search rankings, and GooglePlay’s rankings when potential users are searching the app stores for apps.

The process of making your apps rank higher in app store searches is called ASO. ASO stands for app store optimization. It may seem very similar to SEO for Google, but there are many differences. Unlike SEO with Google, with ASO there are no links to build. The similarity is largely in the process of choosing and targeting search keywords for which you want your app to rank highly.

How to make your mobile app (iPhone Android) or product go viral with social sharing and invites

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

In this tutorial, I explain how to make your mobile iPhone or Android app go viral with social sharing.

Check out my mobile app book and full course, which will teach you the ins and outs of the mobile app business.

Social sharing is extremely important when it comes to mobile app marketing. Savvy mobile app developers build social sharing and social invites right into the usability of their apps to help their apps naturally go viral. Let me explain how this works.

The kind of features you want to add to your app are ones where the app experience becomes better if your users use the app together with friends. If there is something in it for them, your users will be more likely to share your app, invite friends, and make the app more viral in the process.

The app can become better for people if you give them extra points if it is a game or more credits if it is some kind of an app where there are in-app purchases.

Also, think of apps like WordsWithFriends. The app becomes immediately better if people invite friends. And guess what happens when you are waiting for someone else’s turn? You get bored and invite another friend, and another one after that. This way one person can make the app very viral by inviting many friends to download your app.

How to market and promote photo or social apps to get downloads. How to monetize photo & social apps

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

In this tutorial I explain the challenges of marketing and getting downloads for social and photo apps. I group social and photo apps together because these are such common types of apps that people love to try to create.

Check out my mobile app business book and my mobile app business course.

The issues I mention in the tutorial are things you should be aware of and consider during the business plan stage for your app, before you start creating the app. If you can figure out how to get around the challenges mentioned in this video during the business planning stages for your apps, you will save yourself a lot time and money.

I coach many people, and many of them ask me about social apps and photo apps. Often, the social apps involve photos. For most apps, you need to get downloads with ASO (app store search optimization), publicity and social sharing. The main strategy is to rank your apps in app store search. But the challenge is that the social app and photo app searches are very difficult to rank for, and any new app has to compete with many existing million and billion dollar apps. So before you create your app, think about how your app will be different, and how you will be able to promote your app. Without planning for how you will get downloads for your app, you will face serious challenges in getting downloads.

In this tutorial I also explain how to make money from your apps. It isn’t simple to make money from these kinds of app, but it is possible. But again, it really depends on getting downloads because without a high volume of downloads, it will be difficult to generate enough revenue from few downloads.

How to promote and monetize mobile app games for Android and iPhone

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

In this tutorial I explain how to promote, market and monetize mobile game apps for Android and iPhone.

Check out my mobile app business book and my mobile app business course.

The biggest challenge entrepreneurs face when creating game apps is that the games are extremely difficult to distribute, and downloads are tough to come by. The bulk of downloads for game apps come from app store search and paid marketing if the game developers can afford to pay for marketing. The challenge with app store search is that most mobile app games rank for the same keywords in app store search. Because most apps rank for the same keywords, there is a huge bottleneck in app store search since most games compete for the same keywords.

The reason most app developers pay to have their games promoted is that paying for downloads accelerates downloads, and helps the games rank better in mobile app stores. Once the games rank better in the app stores, the apps begin to get natural downloads from search, and rank even better from the extra acceleration of downloads. But this doesn’t happen right away. Many of your competitors are also working hard to increase downloads so if you have a tight budget this strategy may not be for you because you will have to spend a lot of money before seeing significant results.

As you can see, the apps that win are the apps who can pay the most money to have their app downloads accelerated by paying, which boosts their ASO ranking.

App store search vs. social media marketing vs. publicity or being featured

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

In this video I discuss the importance of app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) search which is sometimes called ASO which stands for app store optimization.

Check out my mobile app business book and my mobile app business course.

Perhaps it should be app store search optimization which would be ASO. But I guess the distinction is relatively arbitrary. In any case, in this tutorial I discuss why app store search is so important for your app, and why as a mobile app entrepreneur you should learn everything you can about app store SEO (search engine optimization) which is also known as ASO (app store optimization), and begin executing it. The app stores are, of course, the Apple App Store and the Google Play app store.

Most apps have the bulk of their downloads come from app store search. The other ways to get downloads for an app are various forms of social media marketing, or by getting publicity. There are plenty of other ways to get downloads, but these are the most common free strategies to get a lot of downloads for your mobile app. Other strategies work, but they are secondary, and typically result in far fewer downloads. Of course, paying for downloads also works, but the problem is that most people can’t afford to buy tens of thousands of downloads.

App store keyword research tutorial for ASO (SEO) in Apple App Store And Google Play

facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

In this tutorial I discuss the difference between mobile app ASO keyword research and Google SEO keyword research.

Check out my mobile app business book and my mobile app business course.

The core difference is that with Google SEO (search engine optimization) you get to target more keywords because you can make an unlimited number of pages, with each page targeting a different keyword. Some websites have hundreds of thousands of such pages. Unfortunately, with mobile app store ASO (app store optimization), you only get one landing page which is your app listing page, which means that you only get a few keywords that you can target in hopes of ranking for them in the app stores.

The problem is that since all apps are stuck targeting just a narrow set of keywords. There is a bottleneck of competition for the best keywords. So when you do your keyword research, you must give a lot of consideration to what kinds of keywords your app will be able to compete with. For example, if your app is in the photo space, will it really be able to rank for “photo app” next to Instagram and other million dollar photo apps? Chances are that the answer is no. So you must find secondary keywords which are not as competitive. Those keywords won’t bring you as much traffic and downloads, but at least you will be able to get some downloads, and grow your app from there.
